At St Michael with St Thomas CE we value safe, fun and happy play times. In order for this to happen some of our children take on a very valuable role of ‘Peer Listener.’
To be a Peer Listener children have to fill in an application form with a statement outlining why they wish to be offered the role. They also have to get references from their peers and school staff. The shortlisted children have an interview and full training to prepare them for the role.
Our Peer Listeners are identified by a badge and they have a central location every lunch time in the cabin on the playground.
