At St Michael with St Thomas, we celebrate the fact that we are a loving family with shared values and goals. Our Community Crusaders want to take this positivity into our local communities by sharing learning and enhancing experiences for all.
Our aims are to share experiences and learn from each other. This year, we will receive guests from our local care home to teach us about the history of our area as part of our Local History Week.
We also want to make and maintain connections with local community groups, so it was wonderful to visit Trewan House and spend time playing board games with the residents.
The children and older people loved the afternoon, and everyone is looking forward to repeating this soon.
We have planned visits for the children to explore the local Buddhist temple as we aim to create an inclusive learning community in which we share diverse knowledge and skills.
