Courageous advocacy at St Michael with St Thomas is about empowering our children to speak up for what is right, even when it feels challenging. At our school, we have created a safe and supportive environment where pupils learn to stand up for themselves and others, challenge unfairness, and show empathy and respect. Through discussions, modelling by adults and opportunities such as pupil leadership roles and community projects, our children develop the confidence to use their voices positively. This early experience of advocacy helps children to understand that their actions matter and that they can contribute to a fair and kind world.
