At St Michael with St Thomas, our pupil leadership groups play an integral part in making our school the very best that it can be, collecting and sharing ideas from their classes and leading projects each year to develop an area that they have identified.
Each September pupils apply for the roles and are interviewed by a staff member who leads the group before they are offered the post.
Developing leadership skills early is an important part of our wider curriculum and we are proud of how mature, proactive and passionate our groups are in their roles, showing determination to excel and work as a team for the benefit of our whole school family.
Have a look at each of the pupil leadership group pages to meet the different team and to see their action plans and what they are working on this year. Don't forget if you have any ideas to improve our school, or can offer support to their action plan, then go and speak to the leaders in your class and let them know.
