E​thos Group

Our Ethos Group play a vital role in promoting our Christian values and our Christian ethos within our school. The group aims to develop our Christian distinctiveness, enhance children’s education and develop links within the community. The group works hard to represent the views of the children in our school to lead the development and improvement of the spiritual development of everyone in our school. The support our local clergy with worship and Eucharist services where they read from the Bible, write prayers and plan activities for key events, such as Easter.

This year, we aim to:

1. Develop a spiritual garden in school
2. Improve opportunities for reflection in school through outdoor and indoor reflection and prayer spaces.
3. Support the school in developing its Christian distinctiveness
4. Work with children and adults to develop positive working relationships
5. Help plan Collective Worship and take an active part in its delivery
